Markings removal is unavoidable whenever appears a necessity of changing traffic organisation in industrial facilities or there is a need of refurbishment of existing markings. Effective removal of old horizontal marking is the basis of good surface preparation for relining. We apply two techniques – chemical and mechanical.
From concrete surfaces – the removal is implemented using diamond grinding machine connected to industrial vacuum cleaner. Top coat is removed in an abrasive process together with obsolete markings. This method strongly interferes in surface structure.
From bituminous surfaces (roads, car parks) – the removal is performed by combustion milling machine equipped with specialized cutters that remove 2 to 3 mm of top asphalt surface.
Chemical removal of old horizontal markings from concrete or epoxy surface is performed manually or by machine by applying specialised substance that loosens and dissolves paint coat. This method allows to remove lining and Health and Safety markings with no damage to existing structure of the surface, what is especially important in case of leased warehouses where the arrangements of its return after the lease period are strict.
